“… name “Christ” holds a very special meaning. In the Greek “Christ” means anointed, and its Hebrew counterpart is “Mashiach”– Messiah. When you put these names together, “Jesus Christ” means, Jesus the Anointed One or Jesus the Messiah.”
Why is there a gap between the full freedom Christ died for and the reality of many believers? Why are chains not falling off? Why is corruption, brokenness, addiction, trauma and marriage a failing character of the modern Christian?
“For the hurt of the daughter of my people I am hurt. I am mourning; Astonishment has taken hold of me. Is there no balm in Gilead, Is there no physician there? Why then is there no recovery for the health of the daughter of my people?” Jeremiah 8:21-22 NKJV
Where is the Freedom in Christ? Where is Zoe? Where are the agents of freedom? Where are the ones to stop the gates of hell from swallowing more men? Christ came to free Mankind from itself. From Satan. From Sin. From the world. Many believers seem to be entangled again with the world.
Opinions of Freedom are everywhere. Some teachers say we should not be sin conscious, and that we are already free while still living in sin. Other teachers bring us to daily penitence. Both still seem to fall into sin the same. This conference is crucial to bring believers to the accuracy of freedom. What is Freedom in Christ and how can the Ecclesia arrive there?
